Pilates and Barre

Pilates is a system of repetitive exercises performed on a yoga mat or via using other props such as a Pilates ball, small hand or leg weights etc to promote strength, stability, and flexibility. Pilates exercises develop the body through muscular effort that stems from the core. There are 6 Pilates principles Breath, Concentration, Control, Precision, Centre and Flow, making these connections in each movement creates a more refined practice to target an area of the body. 

 
Barre classes typically focus on small, pulsing movements with emphasis on form, alignment and core engagement, however can incorporate larger muscle groups and larger movements with body weight or inclusive of small hand or leg weights, Pilates ball etc. Participants hold their bodies still while contracting specific, targeted sets of muscles in isometric exercises. These movements can be Ballet focused yet one does not need to be Ballet trained to participate.  These practices can be upbeat and target the entire body, with high-reps and low-impact movements.

Distance Healing Sessions are available—complimentary Travel within a radius of 10km of the Northern Gold Coast Area. Additional investment is added for travel outside the 10km radius.

To hire a venue, would be an additional cost that would be added to the group session.
